On December 2, 2024, the Consunji Group, through DMCI, Dacon and Semirara Mining acquired Cemex Holdings Philippines, Inc. (CHP), marking its expansion into the cement manufacturing industry. Now Concreat Holdings Philippines, Inc., it operates as part of the DMCI Group, alongside other companies engaged in construction, real estate, mining, and power generation.
With its integration into the DMCI ecosystem, Concreat strengthens its position as a proudly Filipino-owned and managed company, committed to supporting the country&rsquo;s development through high-quality, sustainable cement products.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Concreat&rsquo;s key subsidiaries, APO Cement Corporation and Solid Cement Corporation, manufacture, market, distribute, and sell cement under well-known brands such as &ldquo;APO,&rdquo; &ldquo;Island,&rdquo; and &ldquo;Rizal.&rdquo; These brands have been a staple in the Philippine construction industry for decades.

Concreat Holdings Philippines (CHP) traces its roots to Rizal Cement, established in 1930. Global cement industry leader, Cemex, entered the Philippine market in 1997 with a 30% stake in Rizal Cement and later consolidated its ownership, acquiring Solid Cement in 2002 and APO Cement in 1999.
Over the years, CHP expanded its operations, including:
&bull; 2011 &ndash; Acquired terminal facilities in Manila to improve cement distribution via bulk shipments.
&bull; 2014 &ndash; Expanded the APO Cement plant with an additional 1.5 million metric tons of annual capacity, adding terminals in Davao and Iloilo.
&bull; 2016 &ndash; Listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) under the ticker symbol &ldquo;CHP.&rdquo;
&bull; 2018 &ndash; Launched the country&rsquo;s first integrated digital platform for end-to-end customer transactions.
&bull; 2019 &ndash; Began construction of a new cement line in Solid Cement, Antipolo, increasing its capacity from 1.9 million to 3.4 million metric tons annually.
