Now more than ever, is the best time to go into the healthcare professions especially in the field of nursing and caregiving. There are many reasons, the biggest of which is the significantly increasing number of the elderly population needing care and attention especially in the industrialized countries of the world. For Filipinos, this a legitimate option towards a better financial future as incomes of as much as 10 to 20 times their earnings here in the Philippines can materialize.
2. Can CHP assist its graduates in finding employment after graduation?

Yes. Through the Work Assistance Program (WAP), CHP trainees are assured of assistance as they are provided with information of opportunities for healthcare work employment both here and abroad. CHP graduates are not limited to employment in one country or with one agency. As a result, a CHP trainee has higher chances of employment compared to other training centers and schools.
3. Are CHP graduates assured of employment?

A CHP graduate's employment depends on many factors, foremost of which is the job offer that comes from an employer. CHP strives to have many affiliates so that job offers may be generated. These job offers are the direct responsibilities of CHP's affiliate companies. In short, employment abroad - although never assured by CHP or by any other training center, agency or institution - would have a higher percentage of happening through CHP.
4. What about financial assistance?

Financial assistance is possible again through CHP's affiliates. Some companies offer "salary deduction", "fly-now-pay-later" schemes and the like. These are on a case-to-case basis.
5. Are the training fees reasonable? Does CHP have "easy payment" plans?

Yes. Currently, CHP adopts a going-rate policy in its training fees - meaning to say that the fees are neither the highest nor the lowest in the industry. Fees may vary from branch-to-branch but schemes such as "low down payment" and "staggered payments" are common. Considering the high standard of training and the added services however, one certainly gets the best value-for-money training at CHP.
6. Is CHP TESDA-registered?

Yes. All CHP branches offering the Home Health Aide / Caregiver training program are TESDA-registered. In fact, all technical-vocational courses that will be offered by CHP in the future shall be registered by TESDA. Because CHP is about high standard healthcare training, TESDA registration is a basic, minimum requirement.
7. How qualified are the instructors of CHP?

On a nationwide level, CHP boasts of some of the most qualified instructors. Many branches have licensed medical doctors, nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists, psychologists and other professionals in their faculty roster. As a rule, CHP instructors only handle subjects they are qualified to teach.
8. How is the performance of CHP graduates in embassy interviews?

So far, almost 100% of CHP graduates have been successful in passing their interviews at foreign embassies. These people have credited their good training at CHP as one of the major reasons for passing this very important step in going abroad.
9. What about people who are working but want to take up a CHP course?

Most CHP branches offer several time slots for people to choose from in order to suit their schedules and activities. For example, the Home Health Aide / Caregiver course normally has morning, afternoon and evening options. Because the evening sessions would result in lesser hours every week, the length of time to finish the whole course would naturally be longer compared to the morning or afternoon sessions.
10. What are the minimum requirements for someone who wants to enroll?

People who have at least finished high school, are at least 18 years old and physically fit can enroll for the Home Health Aide / Caregiver course at CHP any time. Applicants are required to submit the following:
